Interesting! I have used chatGPT for this many times and sometimes it can be really insightful. But for the app maybe it could lean on the mannerisms and "limitations", like instead of trying to perfect empathy and ethical guiding of the user. It could rely on some kind of formula of guiding the user to find their own truth by presenting options and explaining consequences of each option. That could also include at some points questioning the user if they really want what they claim, which current chatGPT is really really weak at. But questioning without an agenda other than helping the user. Easier said than done I guess, but this is definitely interesting area of study
